INDIANAPOLIS – Ingram Micro Inc., the world’s largest wholesale technology distributor and a global leader in IT supply-chain, mobile device lifecycle services and logistics
solutions, has announced a $100,000 charitable gift to Ivy Tech Community College in Indianapolis. The charitable gift will be used to support the supplemental instruction services offered through the college’s student resource center.

“Ingram Micro’s acquisition of BrightPoint gives us a second home in Indianapolis, and we recognize the importance of supporting education in the communities in which we work and live,” said Bashar Nejdawi, president, Ingram Micro Mobility North America. “Ivy Tech aligns with Ingram Micro Mobility as a critical thread in the fabric of the local community, as both
organizations have a rich history of providing Indianapolis residents with a quality education and meaningful employment. We couldn’t think of a better partner for one of our most important focus areas than Ivy Tech.”

This donation follows a long history of support for Ivy Tech Community College by legacy BrightPoint, which was acquired by Ingram Micro Inc. on Oct. 15, 2012.
