Operators of La Porte Hospital, La Porte Physician Network, Porter Regional Hospital in Valparaiso and Porter Physician Group, will reveal a new health care system name as well as new names for each hospital and their respective physician groups on Sept. 30.
The new La Porte Hospital will be filled with the latest technological amenities and it also will be energy efficient and designed be environmentally friendly.
The La Porte Physician Network is opening a new urgent care center and physician care office.
Sean Fischer is the new chief financial officer for La Porte Hospital and Starke Hospital.
La Porte Hospital will begin transferring patient care services to its new site at 1313 State St. on Oct. 24.
Construction activity on the new La Porte Hospital is expected to resume June 1, according to the project’s general contractor.
