LAPORTE – LaPorte Bancorp, the parent company for LaPorte Savings Bank, has declared a quarterly dividend of 4 cents a share. It will be paid on June 5 to shareholders of record at the close of business on May 23. The dividend represents a yield of 1.9 percent based on the share price of $8.60
MERRILLVILLE – Centier Bank has announced net income in the first quarter of $5.7 million, up from $2.8 million one year ago. The bank reported $2.15 billion in assets, up 4.4 percent from last year.
