MERRILLVILLE – Centier Bank has announced its net income for the second quarter was $5.4 million, up from $2.7 million last year. The bank said the increase was because of improved loan delinquencies and lower loan losses.
Centier has $2.16 billion in assets at the close of business on June 30, with $1.7 billion of that in loans.
The bank also named four new members to its board. They are Michael Barker of Indianapolis; Tim Brust of Valparaiso; Michael Carty of Clinton; and Tim Healy of Portage.
