HAMMOND – The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced that work to replace the nine-span bridge on Indianapolis Boulevard in East Chicago will likely take place next year. NORTH JUDSON – Kemin Industries has opened in Starke County where it will process spearmint for flavoring and preservatives. The company employs 12 people.
