HAMMOND — Thirteen Purdue University Calumet technology students have been inducted into Tau Alpha Pi national engineering technology honor society.
Northwest Indiana inductees, including their city/town of residence and academic major are: Assem Nasser Alotaibi of Munster, mechanical engineering technology; Chandler Gill of Highland, mechanical engineering technology; Michael Pilch of Schererville, mechanical engineering technology; Nasser Thaar Alqahtani of Crown Point, mechanical engineering technology; Rashed Mohammed A Almarri of Hammond, mechanical engineering technology; Robert Deere of Portage, mechanical engineering technology; Sallal Aldawsari of Munster, mechanical engineering technology; and Urvashi Gupta of Hammond, electrical engineering technology.
