KNOX – Indiana University Health Starke Hospital President David Hyatt is taking information about the facility, services and medical personnel into the community.

Hyatt and Community Relations Director Ted Hayes will hold monthly coffee klatches with groups and organizations called Coffee with Dave. The program was initiated to interact with the community on a regular basis.

At the first event in November, Hyatt was accompanied by Dr. Nabil Abdo, who talked about diabetes and women’s health issues. Hyatt also discussed future plans for the IU Health Starke Hospital facility and programs, including the newly expanded Wellness Center, directed by trainer Heather Skelly.

Coffee with Dave takes place bi-weekly from 10 to 11 a.m. at IU Health Starke Hospital.
