KNOX — The Starke County Economic Development Foundation has announced the hiring of two summer interns to assist in the Foundation’s workforce development efforts in Starke County. Rachel Mullens of North Judson, Indiana and Stefanie McGovern of Winamac, Indiana have already begun their duties and are making a significant difference in the preparations of the Foundation.
The Board of Directors of SCEDF authorized two summer interns following the highly successful internship experienced in the summer of 2013. The two interns are working on Manufacturing Day Activities for 2014, including the 7th grade manufacturing experience and the annual Prospectus and Achievement Event. The Marketing efforts, attraction efforts and Manufacturer’s Day activities are being bolstered by their presence.
