The Michigan City Chamber of Commerce is celebrating the opening of A Court of Ink by hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony June 13.

A Court of Ink is a tattoo shop owned by Jackie Scarborough. The new shop is at 3515 Franklin Building A1 in Michigan City.

Scarborough and Clara Lester serve as two of the artists. Additional tattoo artists are coming soon.

Attendees can enjoy refreshments while they explore the shop, meet the artists and take a tour. Flash tattoos, pre-drawn designs for quick tattoos, will be available during the event.

The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at noon June 13 at A Court of Ink.

The opening celebration will continue June 14. More flash tattoos will be available and local vendors will be on hand for the event.
