WESTVILLE – Purdue University North Central Chancellor James Dworkin has received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Indian Medical Association of Northwest Indiana.
The award is given to recognize someone who has worked to better the quality of life in the region. Dworkin was nominated by Dr. Vidya Kora of Michigan City.
“I am delighted that Dr. Dworkin was selected for this honor and I was equally delighted to have the opportunity to present him with the award,” said Kora. “This recognizes his accomplishments at Purdue North Central and in the community as well as his ongoing efforts to reach out to the diverse population of Northwest Indiana.”
