Optimal Health & Wellness moved to a new location in Chesterton as of Dec. 30.

The health provider’s new location at 1575 S. Calumet Road, Chesterton, is a “one-stop shop” for health and wellness, beauty and aesthetics.

Optimal Health & Wellness integrates functional medicine with aesthetic treatments and weight loss strategies.

The company was founded by Kate O'Connor in 2023. O'Connor first received a degree in fashion design from Purdue University, but decided in 2011 to follow her dream in the medical field.

She graduated with a bachelor's degree in nursing. By 2108, she completed her master's degree as a family nurse practitioner.

“We believe in treating the whole person – body, mind, and spirit – and are committed to helping our clients achieve their optimum level of wellness and confidence,” according to the office's website.
