Sales of existing homes in Northwest Indiana totaled 699, down 30.9% when compared to 1,011 closed sales in May 2019.
The Greater Northwest Indiana Association of Realtors reported 733 closed March sales in its service area, which includes Jasper, Lake, La Porte, Newton, Porter, Pulaski and Starke counties. This is a drop of 8.9 percent when compared to March 2018 when 805 closed sales were reported.
Sales of existing homes in Northwest Indiana surged back in July after showing a drop the previous month.
