IU Northwest touts philanthropic efforts of McMahons

Terry and Karen McMahon are featured in an Indiana University Northwest profile on their efforts to transform its athletic facilities.

Over the years, the Indiana University Kelley School of Business graduate and his wife helped upgrade locker rooms, new bleachers, a Hall of Fame, branded vans, among other projects. And then there's the namesake Terry and Karen McMahon Resource Center, which debuted in 2019.

McMahon credits his donations to his love of sports and IUN Director of Athletics Ryan Shelton.

“I’m just a sports fan,” he said. “… when I got to meet Ryan and saw what he was trying to accomplish at IU Northwest, it gave me a little bit of a venue to participate.”

McMahon is the president and CEO and shareholder of McMahon & Associates in Munster.
