The Duneland Chamber of Commerce is hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony April 25 to celebrate the opening of Ruff Luxury Inn at the Dunes.
The inn offers a range of services for dogs, including boarding, daycare, retail and grooming services.
“It’s the place where the tails are waggin’ and the dogs are braggin,’” said Michelle Vanderpool, retail and marketing manager of Ruff Luxury Inn at the Dunes, in a press release.
The ribbon-cutting event will take place at 4:30 p.m. April 25 at 311 Melton Road in Chesterton. Attendees can participate in drawings for a gift basket and try samples. Refreshments will be available.
The Chesterton-based Duneland Chamber of Commerce promotes economic development in the surrounding communities. The organization has about 400 members and offers community-building events and networking opportunities. The chamber serves the towns of Beverly Shores, Burns Harbor, Chesterton, Dune Acres and Porter.
