St. John-based Schillings, which offers building materials like lumber, decking, flooring and cabinets, opened a new showroom in Valparaiso.
The new location at 175 W Lincolnway will serve customers in Porter and La Porte counties.
“With this new showroom, Schillings continues its commitment to providing excellent customer service and making it easy for customers to find everything they need for their construction or renovation projects,” according to the Schillings' website.
The company also has showrooms and lumber yards in St. John and Mokena, Illinois, along with a distribution center in Cedar Lake.
The company has a fleet of more than 70 vehicles to deliver construction materials to commercial or residential projects throughout Northwest Indiana and the Chicago area.
The company was founded in 1945.
