Valparaiso-based HealthLinc has earned accreditation from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.
AAAHC accreditation is a voluntary process. It requires health care organizations to undergo a peer-based evaluation. The review assesses aspects of patient care and operations. It also ensures continuous improvement and adherence to national quality benchmarks.
“This achievement reflects the dedication of our entire team to providing high-quality, patient-centered services, specifically for those who rely on community health centers,” said Melissa Mitchell, HealthLinc CEO, in a press release. “We remain committed to giving our patients the accessible, compassionate and innovative health care they deserve.”
As part of the accreditation process, HealthLinc underwent a review of its primary care services, including preventive medicine, dentistry, telehealth and behavioral health. The process also identifies opportunities to enhance efficiency and improve patient outcomes.
AAAHC is recognized as an accrediting organization by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
