Agape Family Chiropractic opens in Munster

Dr. Mariah Payne recently opened her new practice Agape Family Chiropractic in Munster.

Payne has been a chiropractor for seven years. She has experience working with patients of all ages.

Payne uses chiropractic care to help alleviate a variety of physical ailments and conditions, including headaches and carpal tunnel. She provides wellness care and care for chronic pain and injuries.

Payne graduated from the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Payne earned her bachelor’s degree from Valparaiso University.

As an intern, she worked extra hours providing chiropractic care to active-duty military and their families, as well as providing chiropractic care to patients in underserved areas in the community.

She is certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and is a board member of the American Black Chiropractic Association.

“My mission is to restore and revive health through natural chiropractic care, allowing my patients to live their lives to their fullest potential,” Payne said on the practice's website.

Agape Family Chiropractic, at 9250 Columbia Ave., is open from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8 a.m. to noon Friday.

Agape Family Chiropractic’s website features articles about the history of chiropractic care, its benefits and the schooling chiropractic doctors need prior to practicing.

“Our goal at Agape Family Chiropractic is to enhance, optimize and restore your mobility while providing you with effective, efficient and stress-free care,” Payne said.
