Chester Inc. honored for Crown Point building project

A Crown Point building project has landed a professional award for Chester Inc. of Valparaiso.

The company’s architectural and construction services division was presented with a Vehicle Maintenance-Storage Award by Nebraska-based Chief Builders, a metal building specialist, which also has a location in Rensselaer. Chief Builders presents annual awards to its partners in recognition of quality work.

Chester Inc. provided architectural and construction project management services for a project by NYBY Development at 1140 N. Main St. in Crown Point. The building developed by NYBY now houses MTI Service Center, a provider of vehicle maintenance services.

MTI also has locations in Valparaiso and Michigan City.

Chester Inc. is an architectural and construction, information technologies and agricultural systems firm.
