IU Northwest to host open house

Gary-based Indiana University Northwest is hosting an open house Oct. 26 for prospective and incoming students and families.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about IU Northwest’s degree programs and student life. They will meet current students, faculty and staff. Attending the open house also fulfills a 21st Century Scholarship requirement.

Attendees will be able to:

  • Apply for admission for free
  • Take a campus tour
  • Meet students, faculty and academic advisors
  • Learn about financial aid, scholarships and degree programs
  • Explore athletics and student life
  • Win free items

The event will take place 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 26 at IU Northwest’s Savannah Center. Learn more here.

IU Northwest offers 70 degree programs in the classroom and online. The university serves over 3,500 students. IU Northwest’s roots date to 1921 when Indiana University offered its first formal classes in Lake County as part of a program sponsored by the Gary Public School System.
