HAMMOND – To observe National Tourism Week starting, the Indiana Welcome Center on Tuesday, May 14, will host an Explore the South Shore event from11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The first 500 families to attend will receive coupons for discounts to area attractions. Representatives from more than a dozen attractions will take part in the event, which includes games, train rides, classic cars, photo opportunities and food.
