LAPORTE – The LaPorte Hospital Foundation’s 24th annual Healthcare Scholarship Golf Tournament raised more than $30,000 at its recent event at Briar Leaf Golf Club.
Since 1983, more than 250 students pursuing healthcare degrees have received more than $491,000 in scholarships.
“The foundation’s golf tournament has continued to positively impact local students to achieve their education goals for the past 23 years due to the hard work of our committee, chaired by board member John Leinweber,” said Maria Fruth, executive vice president and chief operating officer of the foundation.
