Downtown South Bend presents 2024 Summer Restaurant Weeks

The Downtown Dining Association of South Bend and Downtown South Bend is planning Summer Restaurant Weeks from Aug. 2 to Aug. 18.

The restaurant weeks feature 33 locally owned, independent restaurants offering valued-priced and specialty menu offerings. Some locations are participating in a cocktail contest with diners voting on their favorite drink.

About 10% of the proceeds from each meal purchased will be donated to Beacon Children’s Hospital. In 2023, the Downtown Dining Association donated over $27,740 to support the hospital.

Multiple restaurants in downtown South Bend will participate. Options range from fine dining to casual and include a variety of cuisines — from Irish fare to soul food to Asian flavors. The menus include breakfast, lunch and dinner choices.
