It's officially open and ready for action! The southern section of the Coffee Creek Watershed Preserve trail system has been reopened and has a few new features to enjoy!
The trail at Bridge 6 now meanders along Coffee Creek providing abundant opportunities to view salmon swimming upstream to spawn, skunk cabbage in the adjacent wetlands, May Apples, and an abundance of native vegetation in the remnant woodlands of the Coffee Creek Watershed Preserve.
The 5K Trail will be featured in six 5K races in 2015. For information on these events visit the Coffee Creek Watershed Preserve website.
