The Ports of Indiana named Chief Operating Officer Dave Parrott and Chief Financial Officer Erica Jackson interim leaders of the Ports of Indiana.
The announcement came after former CEO Jody Peacock concluded his service Nov. 1.
“On behalf of the Commission, I thank Jody for his more than 25 years of service to Ports of Indiana,” Commission Chairman Steven Stemler said in a press release. “Dave and Erica bring strong experience and a deep commitment to our ports. I’m very confident about the path ahead and the opportunities to keep moving Indiana forward.”
Stemler will help them lead the ports during the interim.
Parrott became COO in 2025 after eight years with Metro Ports, which is a terminal operator that helps load and unload ships at ports in North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, California, Washington and Indiana. The company operates in Burns Harbor.
Jackson returned to the Ports of Indiana in 2024 as CFO. She also served in the position from 2019 to 2021.
Since 2001, Peacock led various initiatives for the ports, including senior vice president for business development. For more than 10 years, he led the organization's marketing and communications, government relations, corporate affairs and foreign trade program. He replaced Vanta E. Coda II, who was CEO from 2018 to 2022.
A Ports of Indiana press release did not disclose the reason that Peacock left the organization.
