South Shore CVA seeks nominations for ROSE, RISE awards

July 27, 2022 – By Larry Avila Leave a Comment

South Shore CVA

The South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority seeks nominations for its annual ROSE and RISE awards.

The awards, now in its 16th year, honor individuals who serve customers on a daily basis and who continually go above and beyond to create a positive impact and lasting impression on the experience a guest or visitor has in Northwest Indiana.

Honorees will be recognized at a dinner event on Thursday, Sept. 22 at the Dean and Barbara White Community Center in Merrillville.

Selected finalists will be presented with a rose at their workplace. On the day of the event, these select finalists will be escorted by Epic Limo of Valparaiso to an afternoon of pampering at Beauty and the Beach in Crown Point.

Winners will be announced at the dinner and receive a prize package valued at more than $1,000.

The R.O.S.E. (Recognition of Service Excellence) awards honor front-line employees while the R.I.S.E (Recognition of Industry Success & Excellence) awards honor managerial or past R.O.S.E. award recipients.

Nominations can be submitted at www.rose-awards.com. Nominations submitted after Aug. 6 will be eligible for the 2023 awards.
