Mauser Packaging is leasing a portion of a recently completed multi-tenant facility in Valparaiso.

Barley Properties and Holladay Properties announced Mauser is leasing 25,110 square-feet of the 65,592 square-foot multi-tenant flex building at 2650 Barley Road in Valparaiso.

Mauser Packaging, which was founded in 1896, is now comprised of BWAY, Mauser Group, NCG and ICS. Mauser specializes in new packaging made from recycled content as well as reconditioning, reuse, recycling, and professional disposal.

“The decision by Mauser Packaging to expand its operations in our new building at 2650 Barley Road fulfills the vision for our investment in this building and the city of Valparaiso,” said Jeff Leetz with Barley Properties. “The building is designed to fill a need for flexible light industrial and commercial space offering local businesses an option to grow here, and it provides an ideal location to attract new businesses to our community.”

The Barley Road site is designed to accommodate multiple tenants in a variety of uses and features energy efficient design standards, dedicated architectural storefronts, 24-foot clear ceiling height, utility infrastructure to accommodate a wide variety of users, and dock and drive-in doors available for each suite, developers said.

Holladay Properties and Holladay Construction Group provided development and construction services for the project and continue to provide leasing services for the facility.
