MICHIGAN CITY – Indiana University Health LaPorte Hospital has opened its 38,000-square-foot LifeWorks Business Park on the south side of Michigan City.
The medical facility offers on-site medical services and is part of a larger project planned by owner Holladay Properties. Other additions include retailers, a restaurant, pharmaceutical services and other medical offices.
LifeWorks provides orthopedic services, rehabilitation services, diagnostic imaging, laboratory services, occupational therapy and cardiovascular services.
“We’re very excited to launch our new offices at LifeWorks Business Park,” said Thor Thordarson, CEO of IU Health LaPorte Hospital. “This new facility is a great way for us to reach out to surrounding communities and fill gaps in our region’s medical offerings.”
