MERRILLVILLE – White Lodging Services Corp. has announced plans to build a 1,000-room hotel in Austin, Texas. White, based in Merrillville, said it will be the largest hotel in Austin, home to the University of Texas. Ground will be broken on the Austin Marriott Marquis in mid-2012.
