SOUTH BEND – Efforts to sell the 25-story Chase Tower in downtown South Bend have moved ahead with a vote by the City Council on a resolution making the sale a top priority for the city. The building is owned by Huntington Bank, which told the council it has selected a bidder for the building.
GARY – James Ward has been named marketing liaison for the Gary/Chicago International Airport. Ward has signed a nine-month contract with the airport at $1,000 a month. MICHIGAN CITY – Indiana University Health LaPorte Hospital will hold its 11th annual Women’s Fair Tuesday, Oct. 9, at Blue Chip Casino’s Stardust Event Center in Michigan City.
