The Chicago Area Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) has added the Northwest Indiana region to the monthly educational, networking meetings it hosts. These monthly events, known as NAWBO Connects, are held as a dynamic resource for all women in business to meet and learn from their peers.
“It will now be convenient for members and guests from Northwest Indiana to get together to learn, share knowledge, and network,” said Lori Hilson Cioromski, president of NAWBO Chicago. “This expansion furthers our goal of helping women succeed in business and thrive in their personal lives.”
The next Connects Northwest Indiana event on April 15th features guest speaker Stacey Smith, President and CEO of Prairie Quest Consulting, who will discuss what it takes to build an award-winning woman-owned business in Indiana. Networking and lively idea exchange will complete the program, and the public is invited. The event is hosted at the Purdue Technology Center, Conference Room, 9800 Connecticut Dr., in Crown Point.
