MICHIGAN CITY – Jewel/Osco has announced that it will close its supermarket in Michigan City by Oct. 8. At the same time, the company said its pharmacy was closing immediately. GARY – The U.S. Postal Service has named Bernice Grant as chief executive of the Indiana District and district manager for the Greater Indiana District.
