Gary Chamber relaunches Spotlight on Business program

The Gary Chamber of Commerce is bringing back a program to help local businesses showcase their products and services.

The chamber’s Spotlight on Business program gives business owners the opportunity to make a five-minute presentation about their businesses at the chamber’s monthly luncheon. The monthly interview program also will be featured on social media and local cable television, hosted by chamber President Chuck Hughes.

The chamber will host its first Spotlight luncheon at noon May 13 at The Chateau Banquets in Merrillville. Reservations are required in advance. More information is available by contacting the chamber.

The Gary Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization. It is comprised of business owners, community leaders and citizens who work together to improve the economic, civic and cultural well-being of the area. The chamber was founded as the Gary Commercial Club in 1907.
