Digital Crossroad, the data center in Hammond now under construction, has expanded its executive team.
Brent Streetman recently joined as senior vice president. He will be responsible for new customer acquisition, direct and indirect partnerships, and lead marketing efforts for the new facility, according to a statement from Digital Crossroad.
Streetman has more than 25 years of executive management, sales and marketing leadership, and direct sales with both start-up and larger enterprise organizations at Anixter, Compass Datacenters, and Aligned. He has a Bachelor of Business Management from Texas A&M University.
“Our local presence is growing, and we are working closely with state and regional partners to truly make a transformative difference for Northwest Indiana and the entire state of Indiana,” said Thomas Dakich, managing member of the development. “The addition of new industry leaders like Brent to our work is inspiring, and we are very glad he chose to join us.”
The initial construction phases of Digital Crossroad are nearing completion. The building is a 105,000-square-foot precast concrete facility that includes a data center, a shared-space tech incubator, and numerous features intended to minimize environmental impact.
It is being built on the former site of the State Line Generating Facility.
