VALPARAISO – North Coast Distributing has changed its name to Indiana Beverage to better reflect the company’s recent expansion in central Indiana. VALPARAISO – Porter Regional Hospital will host a reception for its new Center for Women’s Health from 5-6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, in the Medical Plaza at 85 E. U.S. 6, next to the hospital. The Center for Women’s Health offers a comfortable and convenient location for women to access outpatient diagnostic and treatment service.
MUNSTER – Community Hospital has received accreditation from the American College of Radiology and the American Society for Radiation Oncology for its radiation department. The three-year accreditation means the department meets established guidelines for patients care and treatment, patient safety, personnel qualifications, adequacy of equipment, quality control and quality assurance.
GARY – Forest Hayes has been named as the director of the Gary Economic Development Corp. He currently is director of the Gary Commerce Department. Hayes takes over for Tom Collins II, who headed the Gary EDC until last June. Collins is an executive with Luke Oil Co. in Hobart.
