MICHIGAN CITY — Members Advantage Credit Union recently awarded two $500 Earn to Learn Scholarships to Elizabeth Kolodiej and Tamara McCumber.
Kolodiej, a Michigan City resident, is a junior in the Speech Language and Hearing Sciences department at Purdue University. Upon acceptance into graduate school there, she plans to pursue a master’s degree and eventually become a clinical speech pathologist.
McCumber is working toward a degree in business administration management at Ivy Tech Community College. In the future, she hopes to work for a non-profit organization that benefits children.
Members Advantage Credit Union membership is a prerequisite to apply for the scholarship, which was established in Fall 2012. Other requirements for the The Earn to Learn Scholarship include completion of six college credit hours, a minimum GPA of 2.75 and employment of at least 20 hours per week.
