Native Landscaping Class
November is a great time to start planning your gardens. Learn about plants that will give interest to your garden through the season, the importance of native plants and their benefits to wildlife and popular plants to avoid. Botanist and Project Coordinator from Save the Dunes, Nathanael Pilla, will be leading the class.

Living Wreath Classes
Create an all-season wreath made with unique succulents and other living materials. These hearty plants will last all season & beyond. All supplies are included with the price and participants will leave with a completed, decorative wreath. Registration for the class will be closed October 26.
Date: November 3, 6-8 p.m. or November 4, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Cost: $49 for members/$55 for nonmembers

Trail of Scarecrows
This wonderful story-telling exhibit will come to an end with final voting on October 28. Seventeen student groups have created scarecrows based on beloved stories. During your visit, get your voting token from the Gatehouse or Depot and vote for your favorite scarecrow. The award ceremony takes place Saturday at noon at the Depot. Winning groups will receive great prizes. Can't make it to the arboretum in time? Photos and essays are posted on Taltree's Facebook page.

Wire Wrapped Jewelry Class
Jayde McAloon, owner of Pieces of Jayde Fine Art Wire Jewelry, is back to teach at Taltree! All jewelry making supplies are included in the fee. Beach glass pieces will be offered or bring your own specimen to wrap! All participants will leave with a wrapped piece to wear or give as a gift.
