Marriott International officially approved a new Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott next to the Hampton Inn property in Crown Point.

Valparaiso-based Good Hospitality Services has been collaborating with Beacon Hill Partners on the project.

“We are excited to bring a Fairfield Inn & Suites property to Crown Point,” said Jeff Good, CEO and founder of Good Hospitality Services, in a press release. “This project represents our commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences and continuing to contribute to the growth of the local economy.”

The hotel will feature modern rooms and suites, ergonomic workspaces and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi. Flexible meeting spaces will be available for business meetings and social gatherings. The hotel also will feature a swimming pool.

Construction is scheduled to start late this summer. The project first was announced last summer.

Good Hospitality also manages Tru by Hilton Valparaiso, Hampton Inn & Suites Valparaiso, TownePlace Suites Crown Point and SpringHill Suites Munster, along with hotels in Florida.

GHS, which was founded in 1994, has built more than 90 hotels representing different chains around the country.
