IU Northwest to host supplier workshop

IU Northwest will host a workshop Dec. 6 for local businesses interested in becoming Indiana University suppliers.

Presented by the IU Bloomington Diversity Supplier Office, the event aims to provide tools and resources to businesses and organizations seeking to collaborate with IU.

The workshop is open to all business owners interested in supplying goods and services to the university.

Workshop topics will include:

  • Certification guidance: Information about how to become certified as a diverse supplier in the state of Indiana.
  • Vendor registration: Step-by-step guidance on registering as a vendor within the IU system.
  • Bid process overview: Insights into IU’s bidding process and upcoming capital projects.

The event will also offer networking opportunities. Attendees will be able to meet and connect with university representatives responsible for procurement and supplier diversity.

The community diversity supplier informational session will take place 9 to 11 a.m. Dec. 6 at IU Northwest’s Bergland Auditorium in Gary. Learn more here.

IU Northwest is one of Indiana University’s seven campuses. The campus serves about 3,500 degree-seeking students and 1,800 dual-credit students. IU Northwest has been recognized by the Department of Education as a minority and Hispanic serving institution.
