Digs Dog Care rebrands 4 Pawz Only in Munster

Digs Dog Care is committed to furthering the legacies of independent business owners who are ready for their next chapter.

In 2024, Digs Dog Care purchased the 4 Pawz Only in Munster.

“My husband (Brian) and I have owned and sold several businesses, and I can say without any reservations our experience with Digs far exceeded every one of our other partnerships,” said Kaia McShane in a press release. “Every day I am grateful for our decision to put our faith in Digs.”

This summer 4 Pawz Only will take the Digs Dog Care name. Digs focuses on retaining clients who are loyal to their local pet care store, so they often wait to introduce the branding .

“We believe successful rebrands happen when teams, customers and communities feel comfortable and ready for the transition,” according to Lizzy Ament, assistant marketing manager at Digs. “Over the past two years, the Munster team has continued serving local pet families while benefiting from the support and resources of the larger Digs network.”

Digs Dog Care offers onsite pet sitting, including day and overnight accommodations; grooming and training.

Digs also is teaming up with Humane Indiana to spruce up dogs to help them become adopted. At a recent Glow Up Day, one dog was adopted. The company also hosted an open house in June.

Digs Dog Care has a network of 37 pet care resorts in 15 states. Digs for Dogs at 1830 45th St. in Munster was one of five locations rebranded this summer, including several in the Chicago region. Digs is actively seeking other businesses to add to its network.
