Chicago-based Raffin Construction opened its first Indiana office.

The new location in Chesterton builds on Raffin's longstanding relationships in the Region.

“Opening our Indiana office is an exciting milestone for our company,” said Al Raffin, president of Raffin Construction, in a press release. “Many of our employees live in this Region, and this expansion allows us to better serve our clients while continuing to build lasting relationships based on trust.”

The fifth generation, family-owned company celebrated a ribbon cutting Aug. 6 at 802 Wabash Ave. with the help of the Duneland Chamber of Commerce.

Raffin also is celebrating 110 years of construction services, including general contracting, design-build, concrete and other specialty options.
