Red Cup Cafe is celebrating the opening of its new Chesterton location with a ribbon cutting Dec. 17.

“We’re thrilled to open the doors to our new location and continue serving the community we love,” said Laura Verheaghe, Red Cup Cafe owner, in a press release. “This space represents growth, connection and the same warm environment our customers have come to know and love.”

The cafe’s new home is 117 Broadway Ave., next door to their previous location in the heart of Chesterton.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place 11 a.m. Dec. 17 at the cafe’s new location. Community members are invited to join in the celebration. Following the ribbon cutting, attendees can explore the new space and purchase refreshments.

“We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter for Red Cup Cafe,” Maura Mundell, Duneland Chamber of Commerce president, said. “The cafe has been a cornerstone of our business community, and this new location shows their continued dedication to serving Chesterton.”
