Up4Movement celebrates 2nd location in Chesterton

Founder Katrina Jackson celebrated the second location of Up4Movement in July. The Duneland Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting at the new Chesterton studio.

The first location opened in Michigan City in 2021 and was upgraded in 2024.

“We're already seeing the Chesterton and Duneland communities embrace our offerings at our main location, and we're excited to be closer to them, while also welcoming new guests into the Up4Movement community,” Jackson said in a press release. “We look forward to creating another space where people can move, connect, and prioritize their health and well-being in a welcoming, boutique environment.”

She has a clear vision of how her coach-led studios should help clients. She wants fitness to “feel intentional, challenging and sustainable.”

The appointment-only studio celebrated a grand opening July 16 at 132 N. Calumet Road in downtown Chesterton. Guests toured the studio, which offers sculpting classes, Pilates, yoga, personal training and fitness classes.

The Michigan City location is at 621 Franklin St. in Michigan City. Learn more about Jackson's fitness philosophy here.
