WalletHub recently named Purdue Federal Credit Union a 2024 Best award winner.
The West Lafayette-based credit union’s Visa Signature card was named one of the best no balance transfer fee credit cards for 2024.
WalletHub reviewed 110 credit cards at 78 companies. They spent about 30 hours researching to determine the winners.
According to Evelyn Royer, Purdue Federal director of operations, the credit union’s Visa Signature card has zero-fee balance transfers, cash advance options and low fixed-interest rates.
“In today’s economy, it gives the borrower great peace-of-mind knowing that the interest rate won’t skyrocket, making it easier to manage debt if an individual has to carry a balance,” Royer said in a press release.
WalletHub is a personal finance company. Launched in 2013, it offers financial tools and services for consumers. Their website has tools to compare credit card offers, loans and checking accounts. WalletHub names winners in categories such as personal and car loans, banking and financial services.
Purdue Federal Credit Union was founded in 1969 on Purdue University’s West Lafayette campus. The credit union has over 100,000 members. Its members include students, faculty, staff and community members where its regional campuses operate.
