Forbes named 75 Indiana companies to its 2024 list of America’s Best Employers by State.
Forbes partnered with Statista to survey more than 600,000 workers at companies with at least 500 employees in the U.S. Companies do not have to pay a fee to be listed.
Here are the companies based in Northwest and North Central Indiana:
No. 2: University of Notre Dame, 8,500 employees
No. 13: Purdue University: 2,974 employees
No. 14: Munster-based Powers Health, listed as Community Healthcare System, 7,648 employees
No. 37: Fifth Third Bank, 18,724 employees
No. 39: Merrillville-based NiSource, 7,500 employees
No. 41: South Bend-based 1st Source Bank, 1,170 employees
No. 48: Indiana University, 10,001 employees
No. 51: Mishawaka-based Franciscan Health, 20,000 employees
No. 52: Ivy Tech Community College, 6,500 employees
