Legacy Foundation officials announced that the Lake County Forever Fund campaign has met 80% of its $1.9 million goal this year.

Merrillville-based Legacy Foundation launched the Lake County Forever Fund campaign to provide nearly $6 million to nonprofits throughout Lake County.

The Lake County Forever Fund is supported through the generosity of a broad base of donors. To help the foundation reach its $1.9 million goal for 2025, the Lilly Endowment is matching every dollar donated with an additional $2.

Through the Forever Fund, Legacy Foundation supports organizations serving families and individuals in Lake County. The funding supports arts and culture, education, the environment and animal welfare, as well as health and human services. Grants from the Forever Fund aim to ensure the services thrive in the Region.
