Winfield will soon be relocating the town’s police department to a new building at 10688 Randolph St.

The building sits across from Winfield’s Government Center. It will house all of the town officers. The town plans to start construction immediately and be open in the next few months.

“This was a perfect building for the town of Winfield and their police department,” said Brett McDermott, co-founder and senior VP of Latitude Commercial, in a press release. “They had been searching for a new location for quite some time, and the strategic location of this property made a great fit for them and the landlord.”

Crown Point-based Latitude Commercial represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

The town of Winfield was incorporated in 1993. As of 2020, it had a population of 8,175. Winfield ranks among the fastest growing communities in Indiana.

Latitude Commercial provides commercial real estate services such as purchasing, leasing, landlord and tenant representation and commercial property management. The company serves Indiana and Illinois. Latitude Commercial was founded in 2009.
