The Northwest Indiana Regional Development Authority’s board of directors recently elected its officers for 2025.
Don Fesko will continue to serve as chairman of the board for 2025.
Fesko is president and CEO of the Community Foundation of Northwest Indiana. A Doctor of Optometry, he also earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Purdue University and a master’s degree in business administration from Indiana University Northwest. Fesko is active on the Community Cancer Research Foundation Board, the Indiana University School of Medicine Advisory Council, the Hospice of the Calumet Area Board and the Community Care Physician Network Board.
Christopher Campbell, an executive of Centier Bank, will continue as treasurer.
Randy Palmateer, who had been serving as vice chairman, relinquished the office for 2025. Palmateer explained that he was fulfilling a promise to allow the position to rotate to other board members over time.
Milton Reed, the City of East Chicago’s appointment to the RDA board of directors, was elected to serve as vice chairman for 2025. Reed is principal of Global Consulting Solutions.
The Northwest Indiana Regional Development Authority was established in 2006. The quasi-governmental development entity is entrusted to make public investment decisions within a regional framework. The RDA works to support infrastructure projects and induce private sector investment.
