NWI Forum hosts Hammond mayor

The Northwest Indiana Forum hosted their membership breakfast March 19 with guest speaker Mayor Thomas McDermott.

During the breakfast, McDermott shared insights on current initiatives, upcoming city projects and the city's plans for the future. The mayor’s address highlighted efforts to improve the quality of life in Hammond. Forum members had the opportunity to ask questions about local developments.

“We were honored to welcome Mayor McDermott to our membership breakfast and are grateful for the open and authentic dialogue with our members,” said Heather Ennis, Northwest Indiana Forum president and CEO, in a press release.

The event also featured networking opportunities for members, bringing together local business leaders and elected officials.

The Northwest Indiana Forum is a regional economic development organization dedicated to business development, capital investment and economic growth. Funded by over 150 investor organizations, the Northwest Indiana Forum serves the seven-county region.
