MERRILLVILLE – The fourth annual Build Indiana Summit will be from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (CST) Friday, March 18, at the Radisson Star Plaza. Sponsors are NIPSCO, the Northwest Indiana Forum and Porter County Alliance.
The summit is designed to provide a clearer picture of the benefits of doing business in Northwest Indiana. Among the topics on the agenda are railroad transportation, making state and community incentives work for your business, constitutional property tax caps, quality of life in Northwest Indiana and the area’s work force.
The presenters at the summit include Don Babcock, director of economic development at NIPSCO; Peter Laman, director of the Ports of Indiana; Mike Riley, railroad section manager of the Indiana Department of Transportation; and Crown Point Mayor David Uran.
