DYER – Two Franciscan St. Margaret Health physicians have received St. Luke awards, which are given on behalf of nurses from both the Dyer and Hammond campuses to honor excellence in service to patients and staff.

Dr. Navin Kumar, a gastroenterology/internal medicine specialist, receive the award for the Hammond campus, and Dr. Urmi Kalokhe, a radiation/oncology specialist received the award for the Dyer campus.

The award is named for the patron saint of physicians.
